Hi Everyone! Last day of the new year, last day of my blog at this site. Starting for January 1, 2009, I will move to http://dailycleaning.blogspot.com/ I should have my first post done for the 1st hopefully. Sorry for the move, but it needed to be done. Please come visit me and sign up to be a follower if you’re trying to do some of the tasks on a regular basis (or ideally would like to). With all that said, for the last day of 2008, try to:

1. Clean the kitchen floor today. Make sure you get the corners and under the overhang of the cabinets and by the baseboards. Get on your hands and knees if you need to.

OR/AND (you choose #1 or #2 or both)

2. Clean your filters in your house if you have any. Filters on one of those air cleaner things or on your exhaust thing for your central heat. If you don’t have any to change to, then cheat by cleaning your old one off or go out and get one(s) or put it on your grocery list and do another day. Just be sure to follow through.

AND (you should try to do #3 everyday)

3. Do the dishes before bed. Put everything in the dishwasher and clean the things that need to be washed by hand. Wipe off the counters. Hang your dishrag on the sink or faucet. A clean sink area in the morning will help you start your day off right.

Thanks for everything and don’t forget to visit me at http://dailycleaning.blogspot.com/

4. Remember Jesus. This is His day. If you celebrate Christmas, whether you realize it or not, that is the origin. There wouldn’t be Christmas without Christ. So if you don’t know who He is what the big deal is about Him and why so many people are His followers, look into it. I did a quick search on the internet to direct you to these sites. http://www.crosswalk.com/whoIsJesus/1346092/

1. Do whatever you need to do to get ready for Christmas. Hopefully the blog helped you get a head start and today won’t be so overwhelming. Remember… unless you’re guests are going to go in the room, don’t stress over it. I know I try to clean the entire house before company comes, but in the end, they all just stay downstairs. I’m glad to get it done, but the process wasn’t so fun.

OR/AND (you choose #1 or #2 or both)

2. Try to enjoy your day. Go to church and remember the real reason for the season… it’s not the dinner, the presents, the cookies, the clean house… it’s about celebrating the gift God gave us, His only Son! Let’s not forget that and try to not let a commercial Christmas take over! GOD BLESS!

AND (you should try to do #3 everyday)

3. YES, STILL DO THIS! Do the dishes before bed. Put everything in the dishwasher and clean the things that need to be washed by hand. Wipe off the counters. Hang your dishrag on the sink or faucet. A clean sink area in the morning will help you start your day off right.

SEE YOU TOMORROW NIGHT FOR THE NEXT DAY’S TASKS!!!!!! Is this site helping you keep your house clean? Are you motivated at all to do some things you normally wouldn’t have done? This is more than a how to clean your house, this is a get up and do something about it blog. So, how’s it going?

1. Clean under and behind some furniture. Maybe your sofas, an easy chair, behind the entertainment unit, or under your desk. Yesterday, my son’s jacket ended up under an easy chair at my dad’s house and got all dusty so it gave me this idea.

2. Let’s take a break until after Christmas from the list you might have been working on (read early Dec blogs for more info). So instead, clean your stove top and oven hood if you have one. Do it thoroughly and with proper cleaning stuff to get all the grease and grime up.
