Get Motivated! Daily Cleaning Tasks for Saturday, December 6, 2008
Hey Mommies. Please tell me how this is working for you. I have a few followers, but is there any more? So, for tomorrow Saturday, December 6, 2008 try to:
1. You know that cabinet above the fridge? Do you have one? If so, do you know what’s in it? Get a chair or stepstool and see what’s up there and what’s worth keeping. Write what’s up there down. That will help store it into long term memory and also, save the paper and put it in your desk, junk drawer, pantry or somewhere you can reference when you’re looking for something and you think it might be up there. It will be easier to look at the list than get a stepstool again. Be careful. OH, if you can’t get to the cabinet because there’s stuff up there, clean up and get organized. CLEAN THE TOP OF THE FRIDGE TOO! Mind as well or is it “might as well?” It’s late and for the life of me, I can’t remember. Brain freeze.
OR/AND (you choose #1 or #2 or both)
2. Try to do below whatever if applicable to you, even if it’s more than one.
a. Moms with regular/private school kids- help them organize their backpacks and notebooks this weekend.
b. Moms with homeschool kids: take some time and organize your materials, cabinets, your kids’ stuff, etc…
c. Moms of small kids: clean the highchair and/or booster seats.
AND (you should try to do #3 everyday)
3. Do the dishes before bed. Put everything in the dishwasher and clean the things that need to be washed by hand. Wipe off the counters. Hang your dishrag on the sink or faucet. A clean sink area in the morning will help you start your day off right.
SEE YOU TOMORROW NIGHT FOR THE NEXT DAY’S TASKS!!!!!! Is this site helping you keep your house clean? Are you motivated at all to do some things you normally wouldn’t have done? This is more than a how to clean your house, this is a get up and do something about it blog. So, how’s it going?
